| Project Name: Capital Agway Project Description: 7,000 SF Retail Store with porch-like canopies around the showroom. A Pre-Engineered Metal Building was utilized to obtain the desired look and be in conformance with building codes. This project had a $300,000 budget. Unique Features: Steep pitched roofs which allowed for a very visible green standing seam roof panel for the look they desired. The interior is largely unfinished with exposed structure and ductwork for an “industrial” look. The showroom is surrounded by canopies which allows for exterior display of merchandise. Challenges: Troy Management Group, Inc. was brought in on this project after problems arose with the original design which utilized wood construction. With size requirements a wood building could not be used without expensive firewalls or sprinkler systems. The non-combustible metal building gave Capital Agway an inexpensive solution. |
